Comrade Le Van Su, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke at the meeting.
At the meeting, representatives of departments and specialized units of the Department of Agriculture and Environment presented plans to implement key tasks for each industry. In particular, the Department of Fisheries focused on re-counting the area of intensive shrimp farming, super-intensive shrimp farming , forest shrimp farming, shrimp-rice farming; the Department of Crop Production and Plant Protection organized groups to implement the development plan for shrimp, crab, and rice farming in the communes. At the same time, statistics were collected on cooperatives and cooperatives to promote the development of linkage chains, forming specialized farming areas combined with input and output consumption for shrimp, crab, and rice products.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Su directed that in order to develop the shrimp, crab, and rice industries quickly and sustainably, the Department of Agriculture and Environment needs to assign specialized staff and specific areas to coordinate with local authorities to smoothly and effectively implement each assigned task. At the same time, comrades in the Department's Board of Directors need to be in charge of the area to promptly resolve difficulties and problems arising during the implementation process.

In parallel with implementing the plan to develop breakthroughs in 3 industries: shrimp, crab, rice associated with the collective economy of the province, localities also need to develop specific plans suitable to soil conditions and production development models of each locality, thereby helping this industry develop stably, effectively and sustainably in the coming time...
"After the plan is completed, localities need to quickly start implementing it. Pay special attention to developing specialized ecological zones and farming objects for each zone. This is an important step to ensure the economic growth target of Region 1 (Fisheries - Agriculture - Forestry) in 2025 reaches 5.5%, contributing to the growth of the province's GRDP in 2025 and ensuring "double-digit" growth from 2026 onwards", the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized.
