On July 1, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee held a ceremony to announce and award personnel decisions.
The ceremony was chaired by comrades: Nguyen Thanh Nghi, member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Nguyen Van Duoc, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee; Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council; Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City; Dang Minh Thong, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.
Also attending were members of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, members of the City Party Committee, leaders of advisory and support agencies of the City Party Committee, leaders of agencies and units under the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.
At the ceremony, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Dinh Thanh Nhan announced 51 Decisions of the Party Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee on the establishment of advisory and support agencies for the City Party Committee and Party organizations directly under the City Party Committee; Decisions on assigning Party Committee members and Decisions on appointing officials.
Accordingly, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Executive Committee decided to establish the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Organization Board . The Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Standing Committee decided to assign and appoint comrade Van Thi Bach Tuyet, member of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Standing Committee, to hold the position of Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Organization Board. Along with that are the decisions to assign and appoint 8 comrades as Deputy Heads of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Organization Board.
The Ho Chi Minh City Party Executive Committee has decided to establish the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department . The Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Standing Committee has decided to assign and appoint comrade Nguyen Manh Cuong, member of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Standing Committee, to hold the position of Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department. Along with that are decisions to assign and appoint 16 Deputy Heads of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.
The Ho Chi Minh City Party Executive Committee has decided to establish the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee . The Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Standing Committee has decided to assign and appoint comrade Nguyen Thi My Hang, member of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Standing Committee, to hold the position of Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee. Along with that are decisions to assign and appoint 6 comrades as Deputy Heads of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee.
The Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Executive Committee has decided to establish the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Office . The Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Standing Committee has decided to assign and appoint comrade Pham Hong Son, member of the City Party Committee, to hold the position of Chief of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Office. Along with that is the decision to assign and appoint 10 comrades as Deputy Chiefs of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Office.
Along with that, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Executive Committee has decided to establish the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Inspection Committee . Comrade Vo Van Dung, member of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Standing Committee, holds the position of Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Inspection Committee.
The Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee has issued a Decision to establish the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Agencies . Comrade Nguyen Thanh Nghi, member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee holds the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Agencies. The Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Agencies has 6 Deputy Secretaries of the Party Committee.
The Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee has decided to establish the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Party Committee . Comrade Nguyen Van Duoc, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee holds the position of Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Party Committee. The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Party Committee has 5 Deputy Secretaries of the Party Committee.
The Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee has decided to establish the Ho Chi Minh City Military Party Committee . Comrade Nguyen Van Nen, Politburo member, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee holds the position of Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Military Party Committee. The Ho Chi Minh City Military Party Committee has 2 Deputy Secretaries of the Party Committee.
The Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee has issued a Decision to establish the Ho Chi Minh City Police Party Committee . Major General Mai Hoang, member of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department, holds the position of Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Police Party Committee. The Ho Chi Minh City Police Party Committee has 1 Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee.
Speaking at the assignment, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Thanh Nghi shared that July 1 is the first day the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee comes into operation, and also the first day the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Executive Committee announces decisions on the establishment of advisory and support agencies for the City Party Committee and Party organizations directly under the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.
Comrade Nguyen Thanh Nghi requested the advisory and support agencies of the City Party Committee and the Party organizations directly under the City Party Committee to quickly stabilize the organizational structure to operate smoothly, without leaving any vacancies or omissions in functions and tasks, ensuring the requirements of the tasks. At the same time, focus on preparing the conditions to successfully organize Party congresses at all levels.
In particular, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee announced and presented the Politburo's Decision on approving comrade Dang Minh Thong (Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of the former Ba Ria - Vung Tau province) to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term 2020-2025.
Comrade Nguyen Thanh Nghi sent his congratulations and hoped that Comrade Dang Minh Thong would continue to promote his capacity, strengths, and experience, and continue to strive to successfully complete the assigned tasks. The advisory and support agencies of the City Party Committee, agencies, and units of the city should pay attention, share, and support Comrade Dang Minh Thong in the process of performing his tasks.
Representing the assigned and appointed comrades, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Manh Cuong affirmed that he and the comrades receiving the decision deeply realize that this is a time of historical significance and importance for the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.
This is a great honor, an extremely important task, but at the same time a challenge and a heavy responsibility before the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and the Party Committee, government and people of the city.
Comrade Nguyen Manh Cuong pledged that each individual and each agency must unite, be unanimous, strive to overcome difficulties, make every effort, be proactive and creative to continue to do better in their role as an advisory agency, assisting the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, and in the leadership and direction of Party organizations to better advise the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee in the coming time.
"Each individual leader who receives the decision today pledges to always be exemplary, constantly strive to cultivate and train in all aspects, always strive and try their best to do the right and best tasks and responsibilities assigned to them," Comrade Nguyen Manh Cuong emphasized.
