According to the report at the conference, in the first quarter, the province's socio-economic situation continued to achieve positive results. The industrial production index in the first quarter is estimated to increase by 15.83%. Of which, the processing and manufacturing industry achieved the highest growth rate with a growth rate of 34.59%. Total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue is estimated to increase by 19.7% over the same period. Tourists to Quang Ninh in the first quarter are estimated at 5.68 million, up 6% over the same period, ranking 3rd in the country. Agricultural, forestry and fishery production activities continue to remain stable.

Total social investment capital is estimated at nearly 26,000 billion VND, up 16.6% over the same period. State budget revenue reached nearly 13,600 billion VND, equal to 25% of the central budget. The disbursement rate of public investment capital reached 11% of the plan assigned at the beginning of the year. Cultural - social and social security aspects continued to receive attention and achieved positive results.

At the same time, further improve the efficiency of the operating mechanism and coordination between departments and branches, ensuring synchronous and smooth operations; not to let small problems within the province's authority affect the progress of investment projects.

Continue to focus on implementing solutions to implement Resolution 57 on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation. In the immediate future, it is necessary to develop projects to upgrade the information technology system to serve the state management and administration of the province. Along with that, continue to accelerate the progress and quality of implementation of the contents agreed upon at the 2025 Spring Meeting Program between the Secretaries of Vietnamese provinces and the Secretary of the Party Committee of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China). The focus is on building smart border gates, cross-border industry cooperation zones and promoting the Chinese tourist market.
