How much will the basic technical salary be from July 1, 2023 when the basic salary increases? Please refer to the article below.

1. Who is subject to the basic technical professional salary scale?
In addition to the subjects applying the salary table for key positions prescribed in Clause 1, Article 4 of Circular 07/2017/TT-BNV, the remaining people working in key positions are applied the salary table for key technical expertise according to the type and group of industries and occupations as follows:
- Advanced technical expertise:
Applicable to jobs requiring a college degree or higher in cryptography or other majors suitable for the following groups of industries and occupations:
+ Group 1 includes: Cryptographic translation; research, testing and application of cryptographic techniques; research on cryptographic science and technology; cryptographic science and technology information; cryptographic testing; lecturers (excluding lecturers teaching cryptographic specialties specified in Point c, Clause 1, Article 4 of Circular 07/2017/TT-BNV); digital authentication and information security; network security; civil cryptographic management; ensuring cryptographic technical operations; ensuring cryptographic technical facilities and information technology; producing documents, assembling and repairing cryptographic machines and cryptographic equipment.
+ Group 2: Applicable to jobs requiring a college degree or higher in the remaining industries and occupations.
- Intermediate technical expertise:
Applicable to jobs requiring secondary school graduation training in two groups of industries and occupations as follows:
+ Group 1 includes: Cryptographic code translation; research, testing and application of cryptographic techniques; ensuring cryptographic technical operations; ensuring cryptographic technical facilities and information technology; producing documents, manufacturing, assembling, repairing cryptographic machines and cryptographic equipment, and checking specialized cryptographic professional documents.
+ Group 2: Applicable to jobs requiring secondary school graduation in the remaining industries and occupations.
- Primary technical expertise:
Applicable to jobs requiring elementary training in two groups of industries and occupations as follows:
+ Group 1 includes: Cryptographic code translation; practice in production and application of cryptographic techniques; document production, assembly, repair of cryptographic machines and cryptographic equipment, specialized driving (special vehicles), car driving; typist, printer, class IV physician and pharmacist; protection of cryptographic codes and key information.
+ Group 2: Applicable to jobs requiring elementary training in the remaining industries and occupations.
Subjects applying the basic technical professional salary scale with a higher training level than the level specified in the job title standard will only be classified as having a salary according to that job title standard.

2. Basic technical salary table from July 1, 2023
From July 1, 2023, the basic salary will be 1,800,000 VND/month (implemented according to Decree 24/2023/ND-CP).
Therefore, the salary table for technical expertise from July 1, 2023 will be implemented according to the table prescribed in Clause 2, Article 5 of Circular 07/2017/TT-BNV as follows:
