
Premier League rankings round 10: Man United falls to 8th place - Graphics: AN BINH
Round 10 of the Premier League ended with victories for big names like Arsenal, Man City and Liverpool.
Arsenal continued to consolidate their position at the top of the table after defeating Burnley 2-0. The Gunners have 25 points and create a 6-point gap with the 2nd-ranked team, Man City.
Liverpool finally got out of the crisis with a 2-0 win over Aston Villa. This result helped the “Red Brigade” get 18 points and stand in 3rd place.
Newcomer Sunderland have the same points and goal difference but are ranked 4th, due to having less total goals scored.
Man United’s winning streak ended after being held to a 2-2 draw by Nottingham Forest. The “Red Devils” dropped to 8th place in the rankings with 17 points, but they are only 2 points behind second-placed Man City.
Meanwhile, the bottom 3 positions remain unchanged, held by West Ham, Nottingham Forest and Wolverhampton respectively.
