On behalf of the leaders of the Hanoi City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, comrade Tran Sy Thanh presented flowers and congratulated Nhan Dan Newspaper; expressed his impression with the activities of the Vietnam Journalists Association in the celebration of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.

Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh highly appreciated the great contributions of Nhan Dan Newspaper in the process of building and developing the Capital over the past time. In particular, many articles and special topics of the Newspaper have vividly reflected the process of building a clean and strong Capital Party Committee; fighting against corruption, waste and negativity.

At the same time, encourage patriotic emulation movements; accompany the Capital in carrying out socio -economic development tasks; build a civilized and modern urban area; develop culture, preserve and spread the image of elegant and civilized Hanoi people. The passionate, sharp articles imbued with a sense of responsibility of the team of reporters and editors of Nhan Dan Newspaper have contributed to creating consensus and people's trust in the development of the Capital.

Sharing the city's activities in the coming time, comrade Tran Sy Thanh hopes to continue to receive close support and effective coordination from Nhan Dan Newspaper in information and policy propaganda work, especially in streamlining the apparatus, orienting public opinion, contributing to strengthening the great national unity bloc, creating a driving force to promote the capital to develop quickly and sustainably, worthy of the trust of the Party, State and people of the whole country.

“In the coming time, Hanoi will organize many activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2. Therefore, the city hopes that Nhan Dan Newspaper will continue to widely promote these important and meaningful activities,” emphasized comrade Tran Sy Thanh.

“I deeply believe that, with its glorious tradition, strong political will, and a team of intelligent, experienced and responsible cadres and reporters, Nhan Dan Newspaper will continue to develop strongly, continue to be the main and exemplary media agency, and successfully complete its information and propaganda mission in the new development stage of the country,” emphasized comrade Tran Sy Thanh.

Expressing sincere thanks to the Hanoi city leaders for their attention to the cadres, reporters, editors and staff of Nhan Dan Newspaper in the past time, Editor-in-Chief Le Quoc Minh shared the outstanding activities of the Vietnam Journalists Association on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.

Notably, the delegation of 100 journalists from the Vietnam Journalists Association visited the soldiers and people of Truong Sa island district. Next, the 2025 National Press Festival took place from June 19 to 21 with the theme "Vietnamese Press - Loyal, Creative, Courageous, Innovative for the cause of building and defending the Fatherland".

In particular, the closing ceremony and awarding ceremony of the 19th National Press Awards - 2024 will be held on the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, June 21, at My Dinh Athletics Palace, Hanoi.

Comrade Le Quoc Minh said that these days, press agencies are focusing on important commemorative activities, especially in the context of the whole country implementing a revolution to streamline the apparatus. In particular, many press agencies are also subject to streamlining and merging, and it is inevitable that many journalists will have to switch to other jobs.

“In that context, every journalist needs to constantly strive to learn and improve their professional experience and ethics, especially in implementing digital transformation in journalism to meet practical requirements,” said comrade Le Quoc Minh.

On this occasion, comrade Le Quoc Minh respectfully thanked the city authorities at all levels for supporting and creating favorable conditions for Nhan Dan Newspaper to fulfill its mission and responsibility as a press agency of the Party and State. At the same time, he hoped that the capital authorities at all levels would continue to pay attention and create conditions for the Newspaper to promptly inform readers about the city's activities.
