Nhan Dan Newspaper launches photo collage project of Hanoi Flag Tower

On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital, Nhan Dan Newspaper launched the project “Each person, a piece of the puzzle”. The project will use images sent by readers to create a large photo of the Hanoi Flag Tower.

The project "Each person, a piece of the puzzle" is the highlight of the entire information and propaganda ecosystem for the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital of Nhan Dan Newspaper.

This is an effort of Nhan Dan Newspaper in the digital transformation roadmap, connecting traditional print newspapers with technology platforms to create new experiences, better serve and attract the public, especially young readers.

To send photos to Nhan Dan Newspaper, readers follow these steps:

Step 1: Visit the website: https://nhandan.vn/cot-co-ha-noi/

Step 2: Upload photos, enter domain name and location.

It is recommended that readers download square photos (1:1 ratio) for the best frame, maximum photo size is 8MB.

Step 3: Click the “Send” button, receive the code and filter 70 years of Capital Liberation.

Readers will use the code provided to find their photo's location in the large image published on October 10. Note that this code is only issued once , so readers are advised to take a screenshot or save the text if necessary.

Step 4: Share the filter 70 years of Capital Liberation with the hashtag #baonhandan #cotcohanoi

Nhan Dan Newspaper will also launch a supplement called Cot Co Ha Noi with interesting content along with the daily print newspaper on October 10.

Previously on May 7, Nhan Dan Newspaper launched the panorama supplement and interactive exhibition of the Dien Bien Phu Campaign. The panorama supplement includes 8 special information pages: 4 pages summarizing the progress of the 56 days and nights of the campaign and 4 pages printing the entire panorama of the "Dien Bien Phu Campaign". Readers can cut and combine them into a panorama up to 3.21m long and interact with the picture through augmented reality (AR) technology or scan QR codes. This technology allows users to view a dynamic panorama in physical space. This event has caused a "fever" among young people, reaffirming the position, role and innovations of print newspapers in the reception of the public, especially young readers.
