According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 6:00 a.m. on October 27, the center of the storm was located at approximately 16.8 degrees North latitude; 108.9 degrees East longitude, approximately 110km East Northeast of Da Nang . The strongest wind speed is level 9-10 (75-102km/h), gusting to level 12.
Forecast in the next 3 hours, the storm moves in the West Southwest direction, speed about 15km/h.
Storm No. 6 caused strong winds, high waves and thunderstorms at sea. Specifically, Bach Long Vi island area had strong winds of level 6-7, sometimes level 8, gusting to level 9; Con Co island, Ly Son had strong gusts of level 7. The sea area to the west of the North East Sea had storms; the southern area of Bac Bo Gulf and the sea area from Quang Tri to Quang Ngai had showers and strong thunderstorms.

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting warns that the risk of natural disasters due to strong winds at sea is level 2; especially the sea area from Quang Binh to Quang Ngai (including Con Co, Cu Lao Cham, Ly Son islands), the sea area west of the North East Sea (including the sea area west of Hoang Sa) is level 3. The meteorological agency forecasts that from early morning of October 27 to the night of October 28, the area from Quang Binh to Quang Ngai will have heavy to very heavy rain and thunderstorms with rainfall from 200-400mm, locally over 600mm; warning of the risk of local heavy rain (>100mm/3 hours). In Ha Tinh, Binh Dinh and the Northern Central Highlands, there will be moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain with rainfall from 100-180mm, locally over 250mm.
