The opening ceremony of the first course of the training cooperation program between Tuoi Tre newspaper and HUFLIT took place on the morning of June 6 at the Tuoi Tre newspaper office. International relations students studied in-depth the subject "Analysis and commentary on international events" at Tuoi Tre newspaper.
This is the first time that Tuoi Tre newspaper has provided an in-depth course on journalism and media content for university students.
Ho Ngoc Yen Ngan - a third-year student majoring in international relations - said that when the faculty opened for registration, Ngan chose to study at Tuoi Tre newspaper with the expectation of learning a lot of experience from daily events that are new and close to reality.
Ngan added that from an event, to be able to analyze and comment requires important background knowledge. Therefore, Ngan hopes to learn how to collect information and analyze situations based on daily professional activities at the newspaper.
According to Dr. Ngo Thi Bich Lan - Deputy Dean in charge of the Faculty of International Relations and Communications at HUFLIT, this subject requires students to have two important knowledge blocks: international relations and analysis and commentary from a journalistic perspective.
"Studying at Tuoi Tre newspaper opens up opportunities for students to interact with real-life environments and learn from experienced journalists. This helps students practice skills, accumulate knowledge and practical experience for future work," Ms. Lan shared.
