Long An Newspaper and Radio and Television Station visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), on the afternoon of April 30, the grassroots Trade Union coordinated with the Youth Union of Long An Newspaper and Radio and Television Station to visit and present gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Le Thi Hanh, residing in Phuoc Lai commune, Can Giuoc district.

The delegation presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Le Thi Hanh

The delegation kindly inquired about the health and daily life of Mother Le Thi Hanh; at the same time, presented gifts and support money. Receiving the affection from the unit, Mother and her family thanked the unit for its thoughtful care and attention over the years.

Vietnamese Heroic Mother Le Thi Hanh (born in 1930) had a husband and daughter who both died in the resistance war against America to save the country.

From January 1, 2016, Long An Newspaper (now Long An Radio and Television Newspaper) has taken care of Mother as an act of gratitude and responsibility towards those who have dedicated and sacrificed for the Fatherland.

Union members and young people talk and visit Vietnamese Heroic Mother Le Thi Hanh. Visiting and taking care of Vietnamese Heroic Mother is a regular activity, demonstrating the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source" of the staff, civil servants and workers in the unit.

This is also an opportunity for the younger generation to meet, listen and understand more about the great losses and sacrifices of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, thereby fostering gratitude and a sense of responsibility in the cause of building and protecting the homeland./.
