Arrest of a subject who stole a series of motorbikes in Dong Hoi City

(QBĐT) - On April 18, Dong Hoi City Police said: The Criminal Investigation Force, City Police have just successfully fought a case, arresting Nguyen Anh Tuan (born in 1990, residing in TDP 1 My Cuong, Bac Nghia Ward, Dong Hoi City) for theft of property.

Through initial investigation, Nguyen Anh Tuan confessed that he had taken advantage of people's negligence and since the beginning of March 2024, he had committed 7 thefts, mainly of motorbikes, in Dong Hoi City with a total value of about 110 million VND.

Dong Hoi City Police seized evidence related to the thefts, including 3 motorbikes and 1 trailer, worth a total of about 60 million VND. It is known that Nguyen Anh Tuan is a drug addict with a criminal record for theft.

Currently, the Investigation Police Agency of Dong Hoi City Police has issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused and issue an order to temporarily detain Nguyen Anh Tuan for further investigation.
