Mr. Duc sells bananas and earns more than 330 billion VND

Hoang Anh Gia Lai Joint Stock Company (HAG) has just announced its business performance in the first 8 months of the year, with net revenue reaching 660 billion VND.

Of which, banana sales still brought in large revenue for Hoang Anh Gia Lai, reaching 338 billion VND, with an output of 30,900 tons. In the pig farming sector, the company exported 32,584 pigs, bringing in 182 billion VND. In addition, the company had ancillary revenue of 140 billion VND.

Recently, the Plant Protection Department sent a notice to the Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development that have official exports to China, requiring specialized agencies to strictly control the coded growing areas to protect export activities.

According to Hoang Anh Gia Lai, banana exports to China are still going on as usual. Meanwhile, the first season of durian has been harvested, so there is no product to export.

At the investor meeting, Mr. Doan Nguyen Duc (Bau Duc), Chairman of HAGL, said that the company planted about 1,200 hectares of durian trees, of which 700 hectares have been planted in the 4th and 5th years, meaning they can be harvested by the end of 2024. This year alone, the company harvested about 1,000 tons from 3 gardens, equivalent to 80 hectares.

Mr. Duc revealed that the first durian garden has been harvested with a revenue of 18 billion VND while the investment cost was 3.6 billion VND. Mr. Duc said he will send a box of durian to thank shareholders.

HAGL Chairman said that HAGL has bananas for harvest from November to June next year, the largest output, the highest price. He expects the price of bananas in November this year to be around 15-16 USD/barrel, while last year it was around 12-13 USD/barrel.

The total value of proceeds from this issuance is estimated at more than VND820 billion, which will be used to contribute investment capital and supplement capital for production and business activities.

* TAN: Thuan An Coffee JSC has set the last registration date to close the list to receive cash dividends in 2022 at a rate of 12.8% (1 share receives 1,280 VND) on September 28. Payment date is October 13.

HNX-Index increased 4.6 points (+1.84%) to 254.82 points. Total matched volume reached 77.55 million units, worth VND1,691.24 billion.

UPCoM-Index increased 0.27 points (+0.3%) to 93.35 points. Total matched volume reached more than 44.77 million units, worth 733.2 billion VND.

Market commentary on September 21, Agriseco Securities said that VN-Index created a morning star candlestick pattern, signaling that the trend may reverse and increase again. The market may continue to accumulate and return to the 1,240 point zone in the coming period.

Investors should note that tomorrow's session is the September derivatives maturity date and the third quarter of 2023, so strong fluctuations may occur.
