On October 31, at Thao Nguyen ward, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province held the closing ceremony of the training conference for officials at all levels on developing agricultural and rural tourism associated with the New Rural Development Program in 2025.

During the 5-day training, more than 60 trainees were taught by lecturers of the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture on key topics such as: State management of tourism and agricultural tourism, agricultural models associated with the new rural development program; developing agricultural tourism associated with the new rural development program; developing agricultural tourism according to the value chain; building and evaluating agricultural tourism models; guiding the management mechanism, organizing the model; building rural tourism destination brands and digital transformation trends in tourism development.

Students are also equipped with digital content creation skills, applying artificial intelligence (AI) in promoting tourism products and services; applying e-commerce in promoting rural tourism. At the same time, they will visit and learn from typical agricultural tourism models in Moc Chau National Tourist Area.

During the training, lecturers and students actively exchanged and shared practical experiences, proposed many ideas and solutions for tourism development associated with agriculture and rural areas suitable to the characteristics of each locality. At the same time, organized for students to visit the field, learn some agricultural models associated with tourism development at Moc Chau National Tourist Area.

At the end of the training course, 100% of the trainees were eligible to receive a certificate of completion of the training course on agricultural and rural tourism development associated with the new rural construction program.
