Closing Ceremony of the 2025 National Residential Mass Arts Festival

On the evening of November 19, at Trung Nu Vuong Square (Long Xuyen Ward, An Giang Province), the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the People's Committee of An Giang Province to organize the opening and closing night of the 2025 National Residential Area Mass Arts Festival.

Deputy Director of the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library Nguyen Quoc Huy; Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of An Giang province Nguyen Van Mao (Co-Head of the Festival Organizing Committee); leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism , Department of Culture and Sports of provinces and cities attended.

In his closing speech at the festival, Deputy Director of the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library Nguyen Quoc Huy assessed the success of the festival as the competition "Shining Journey - Connecting residential area culture", the elaborately and magnificently staged singing and dancing performances; the strong non-professional dance team... Along with that, the groups participating in the festival had careful preparation, investment, many innovations, new staging methods, and smooth, reasonable connection of performances in the program, attracting viewers.

During the 5-day festival, nearly 700 artisans, artists, and actors from 12 mass art troupes from the provinces and cities of An Giang, Can Tho, Dong Thap, Dong Nai, Da Nang, Hanoi, Phu Tho, Quang Ngai, Quang Ninh, Son La, Tay Ninh, Vinh Long brought 72 performances and diverse genres of solo, duet, trio, group singing; independent dance; traditional musical instrument ensemble...; attracting a large number of people and tourists to enjoy.

As a result, in the competition "Shining Journey - Connecting residential culture", the organizing committee awarded 5 A prizes to mass art troupes from An Giang, Hanoi, Dong Thap, Can Tho and Quang Ninh provinces; 7 B prizes to troupes from Quang Ngai, Son La, Tay Ninh, Dong Nai, Phu Tho, Da Nang and Vinh Long.

In the art performance section, the organizing committee awarded 15 A prizes and 28 B prizes to the participating groups. In addition, certificates of merit from the Director of the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library were also awarded to 18 individuals with outstanding achievements in participating in the festival.
