Closing ceremony of the Ethnic Cultural Festival of Ethnic Boarding Schools for the 2024-2025 school year - Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station

- After 3 days of exciting activities of the Ethnic Cultural Festival for Ethnic Boarding Schools (from May 19 to 21), on the afternoon of May 21, the Departmentof Education and Training held the closing ceremony of the Ethnic Cultural Festival for Ethnic Boarding Schools for the 2024-2025 school year.

The festival was attended by more than 400 students from 86 ethnic minority boarding secondary schools in 10 districts in the province. They brought unique art performances of many genres such as: singing, dancing, performing traditional musical instruments; and dramatizing festivals. In addition, they also participated in many folk games such as: throwing con, jumping on bamboo poles, walking on stilts, etc.

At the end of the festival, the Organizing Committee awarded 4 first prizes, 7 second prizes, 11 third prizes, 3 fourth prizes, and 12 consolation prizes to outstanding groups in the categories of fashion shows, festival dramatization, and cultural races. Of which, the Department of Education and Training of Loc Binh district won the first prize for the entire group.

The Ethnic Cultural Festival of Boarding Schools in the 2024-2025 school year is a special cultural activity organized for the first time at the provincial level for students of boarding schools. The festival has practical significance in contributing to educating awareness of preserving and promoting the value of ethnic minority cultural heritage in the province. Thereby, discovering and honoring individuals and units with outstanding performances participating in the festival, attracting the attention of society to participate in educating students about love for their homeland and country, preserving and promoting national cultural identity, contributing to building a great national unity bloc in the process of comprehensive innovation in education and training.
