Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Manh Khanh, Deputy Director of Viet Duc Friendship Hospital, surveyed the facilities serving medical examination and treatment at the Provincial General Hospital.

The delegation directly surveyed departments such as: General Surgery, Anesthesia and Resuscitation, Hematology - Blood Transfusion, Endoscopy, Biochemistry - Microbiology, Pathology - Cell, Hematology - Blood Transfusion, Diagnostic Imaging... At the departments visited by the delegation, experts provided technical advice and suggested directions for in-depth development.

At the meeting, the leaders of the Provincial General Hospital proposed to Viet Duc Friendship Hospital to support training, technology transfer, equipment, and online treatment connection in the coming time. Thereby, helping the unit to access online seminars and conferences to update knowledge on difficult case consultation, remote treatment, etc. In particular, the Hospital sets a goal of a breakthrough strategy, implementing kidney transplant techniques in the period of 2026-2027, so the hospital hopes to receive support from experts of Viet Duc Friendship Hospital to successfully implement the kidney transplant technique package and follow the roadmap.

After conducting a survey and assessment of the existing facilities, equipment, human resources and capacity and ability to receive technical packages at departments in need of receiving technical transfer, the members of the delegation exchanged, discussed and assessed the needs and capacity to receive the transferred techniques. At the same time, they analyzed and specified some contents and requirements in receiving technical transfer of the unit.

Members of the working group affirmed that in the coming time, they will ensure conditions for receiving professional support as well as orientation for the hospital's specialized technical development.
