The delegation of the Vietnam – Cuba Friendship Hospital examined, consulted and provided free medicine to more than 200 families with meritorious services to the revolution. At the same time, they presented 30 gifts to families in difficult circumstances and more than 300 gifts to students at Hai An Kindergarten, Hai Khe, bringing joy and encouragement to future generations.
The hospital also donated a number of medicines to support health care at the Hai An Commune Border Guard Station, Con Co Island Border Guard Station, Hai An Commune Medical Station and Kindergarten. The funds were mobilized from contributions from the hospital's staff, union members, and youth union members, demonstrating the hospital's dedication to people in disadvantaged areas.

And Hai An commune, Con Co island Border Post is the place where we want to send our sincere respect.
We understand that, although the country has changed a lot, there are still families facing financial and medical difficulties; there are still quiet lives that do not receive adequate health care. That is why our working group carries out this program with a small wish: To share, to contribute - with expertise and with sincere feelings", Dr. Chinh shared.

Sharing about the significance of this activity, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dinh Cuong, Chief of Hai An Border Guard Station, expressed his honor to be connected with the Vietnam - Cuba Friendship Hospital in the program of examining and providing free medicine to people.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dinh Cuong affirmed that the Hai An Border Guard force played the role of "bridge" for the Vietnam - Cuba Friendship Hospital to carry out this meaningful program. The gift, though small, is the sentiment and meaning of the hearts of the capital as well as the whole country for the people in the border areas of Hai An and Hai Khe communes.

Also within the framework of the program, showing direct concern and sharing with the forces on duty in difficult areas, Lieutenant Colonel Phan Van Thuan, Party Cell Secretary, Political Commissar of Hai An Border Guard Station, on behalf of the unit received practical gifts including 1 hot and cold water dispenser, 1 medicine cabinet and 1 printer from the Vietnam - Cuba Friendship Hospital and representatives of the Phil Tam Charity Club presented by Director Cao Duc Chinh and Ms. Pham Thanh Minh.
This medical examination, treatment, medicine distribution and gift giving program is a vivid demonstration of the effective coordination between the health sector, the military and social organizations towards the community; Deeply spreading the spirit of mutual love, strengthening the solidarity between the army and the people, is a great source of encouragement to help people in the border areas stay steadfast in their commitment to the sea and protect their homeland.
On the same day, the delegation of the Vietnam - Cuba Friendship Hospital visited and presented gifts to soldiers of the Con Co Island Border Guard Station and 24 households living on the island. Here, the delegation presented the Border Guard Station with 2 breeding pigs to support increased production and necessary items for daily life. At the same time, 24 practical gifts were also handed to the households, demonstrating the affection, sharing and social responsibility of the staff of the Vietnam - Cuba Friendship Hospital towards the people here.
