This screening focuses on people aged 50 and over, especially those with symptoms of prolonged digestive disorders, persistent dysentery syndrome, diarrhea many times a day, long-term constipation or alternating diarrhea.
People with risk factors such as smoking, drinking alcohol regularly, being overweight or obese, being sedentary or having relatives with colorectal cancer are also encouraged to participate.
People will receive a general check-up, rectal examination, fecal occult blood test and endoscopy if they are in the high-risk group. After screening, the hospital will advise on lifestyle and will also provide treatment for cases where abnormalities are detected.

To participate in the program, people can register via the Fanpage "Da Nang Oncology Hospital". Registration time is from September 18 until enough people are selected, the hospital will contact to confirm information.
Early detection and diagnosis play an important role in treatment and prognosis. Regular screening helps identify risks even before symptoms are apparent, increasing the likelihood of successful treatment while reducing costs and treatment time.
According to GLOBOCAN statistics, in 2022, in Vietnam, colorectal cancer ranked 4th among common cancers with more than 16,800 cases, accounting for 9.3% of total cancer cases.
