On the afternoon of February 4, Mr. Bui Thanh Binh - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Doa District, Gia Lai Province, said that the District Party Committee and People's Committee of Dak Doa District are redoing the process and procedures in accordance with Party regulations related to the transfer and appointment of a key official of the district.
Previously, Mr. Nguyen Huu Tho - Secretary of Dak Doa District Party Committee, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, signed a decision to transfer and assign Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung - District Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee to take up work and hold the position of Head of the District Party Committee's Organization Board from January 5, 2024.
The decision to transfer and assign cadres is sent to relevant units, the District People's Committee, the District Party Committee's Organization Board and the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board.
According to Mr. Bui Thanh Binh - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Doa district, after signing the decision to transfer cadres, Dak Doa district found that the document was not in accordance with the procedures and legal regulations on cadre work procedures.
The reason is that Mr. Dung is a personnel under the management of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee. The transfer and appointment of Mr. Dung without the district asking for the policy of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and having the opinion of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee is incorrect.
Therefore, Dak Doa District Party Committee has revoked and canceled the decision to transfer and assign Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung. While waiting for the procedures to be redone in accordance with the correct order, Mr. Dung still holds the position of Vice Chairman of Dak Doa District People's Committee.
