Secretary of Hanoi Party Committee sends letter of condolence to Nghe An province people affected by storm and flood

Along with the letter of condolence from the Secretary of the City Party Committee, Hanoi City decided to support 5 billion VND to share difficulties with the Party Committee, government and people of Nghe An province.

On July 24, Politburo member, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hanoi Bui Thi Minh Hoai sent a letter of condolences to the people of Nghe An province who suffered damage due to storms and floods.

In a letter of condolence sent to the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, the Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee wrote: In recent days, Nghe An province has experienced heavy rain due to the impact of storm No. 3 (Wipha), causing landslides and flooding in many areas, causing great damage to people and property in the province.

“On behalf of the Party Committee, government and people of Hanoi, the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi would like to send our warmest regards and deepest condolences to all cadres, soldiers and people of Nghe An province; especially the people in areas affected by storms and floods,” wrote comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai.

With the sentiment of "Mutual love" and the spirit of "Hanoi for the whole country, with the whole country", the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City sent to the Relief Fund managed by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province the amount of 5 billion VND to contribute to overcoming the consequences caused by storms and floods and sharing the difficulties of the Party Committee, government and people in the province.

“The Hanoi Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee believe that with the attention of the Party and State; the sharing and contribution of provinces and cities across the country; and with the spirit of solidarity, responsibility and strong will to rise up, cadres, soldiers and people of Nghe An province will overcome difficulties, quickly overcome the consequences, and soon stabilize the lives of people in the province,” wrote Hanoi Party Secretary Bui Thi Minh Hoai.
