Attending the meeting with voters were National Assembly deputies: Tran Luu Quang, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Nguyen Thi Yen, former Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province (formerly); Huynh Thi Phuc, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Ho Chi Minh City, XVth term; Duong Tan Quan, Deputy Director of Phu My City Medical Center.

At the meeting, HCMC National Assembly Delegate Huynh Thi Phuc informed about the socio -economic situation since the beginning of the year of the country and HCMC.

Specifically, Ho Chi Minh City continued to play the leading role in the country's economy in the first 9 months of the year, with GRDP increasing by 7.85%, creating a solid foundation to achieve the annual target and prepare for the 2026-2030 period. The service sector grew comprehensively: retail increased by more than 15%; accommodation and food services increased by more than 20%; tourism and travel increased by nearly 39%. The city has more than 42,000 new enterprises, with additional registered capital of nearly 1 quadrillion VND.

Ho Chi Minh City has collected more than 570,000 billion VND in budget revenue, equal to 115.6% of the same period last year, which is a bright spot. Ho Chi Minh City also focuses its budget on development investment and social security.
Social security work is focused on: tens of thousands of health insurance cards are issued to people, thousands of new houses are built and repaired for poor households, and nearly 39,000 jobs are created.

Public investment was boosted, disbursement increased by nearly 27% over the same period; realized FDI capital reached more than 15.4 billion USD, up 8.8%. Budget revenue increased by 28.5%, expenditure increased by more than 31%, ensuring spending requirements for development, national defense - security, digital transformation and implementation of social policies.

Before the meeting with voters, the delegation of National Assembly deputies of Ho Chi Minh City and the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ba Ria, Tam Long and Long Huong wards visited and offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at Long Phuoc Martyrs Temple and Hoa Long Martyrs Temple.



In a solemn atmosphere, the delegation observed a minute of silence to remember, express respect and infinite gratitude for the great contributions of our ancestors and heroic martyrs who heroically sacrificed for the cause of national liberation, the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
