The German Business Association in Vietnam (GBA) is one of the first foreign business associations in Vietnam. It has been in operation since 1995, is the oldest and is a co-founding member of the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EUROCHAM).

To date, the German Business Association in Vietnam (GBA) has been and is the focal point representing the life, culture and values of the German business community in Vietnam. The association supports German member businesses in developing their activities, provides diverse advice on many topics and creates opportunities for cultural and economic exchange.

On October 1st in Ho Chi Minh City, GBA successfully organized the third 'Coffee Talk with GBA Board Care-takers' event at Deutsches Haus Ho Chi Minh City. The session was attended by 20 members, led by GBA Board members Mr. Dirk Arend, Mr. Jan-Christian Koldehoff and Mr. Viet Le. During the 90-minute session, participants discussed how to enhance member value and explored various avenues for community engagement for all GBA members including their management and staff. The uniqueness of 'Coffee Talk with GBA Board Care-takers' and its role in community engagement work.

This interactive event provided an opportunity for GBA members in general and Sao Vang Beer - Savabeco in particular to present their creative ideas related to the strategic direction of the organization.
