Binh Phuoc attends international friendship cities conference in Shandong, China

BPO - On May 26, a delegation of officials and civil servants of Binh Phuoc province led by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Van Mi arrived in Jinan city, Shandong province, China to attend the Shandong province International Friendship Cities Conference for Peace and Development 2025, taking place from May 26 to 30, at the official invitation of the Shandong provincial government.

Immediately after arriving in Jinan City, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Van Mi and heads of 46 delegations from countries and territories had a meeting and cordial greeting with leaders of Shandong Province. This was the opening activity of the working trip to Shandong Province, China.

The meeting took place in an open, friendly and respectful atmosphere, demonstrating the good traditional relationship between Vietnam and China in particular and between countries and China in general.

Shandong provincial leaders expressed their joy at welcoming the delegations of various countries to the conference and said that this was a good opportunity for the parties to strengthen exchanges and expand cooperation in the fields of economics , trade, investment, education, and people-to-people exchange.

The conference is an opportunity for Binh Phuoc to connect with businesses, investors, and international organizations from Shandong and other participating cities, especially in the areas that Binh Phuoc is prioritizing to attract investment such as developing processing industry, logistics, industrial park infrastructure, and human resource training.

The delegation of Binh Phuoc province also included leaders of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Finance, Provincial Economic Zone Management Board and Dong Xoai City People's Committee. The presence of functional departments in the delegation aims to create conditions for promoting more substantive and effective cooperation in specific areas.
