5 months, social insurance and health insurance payment of more than 914.5 billion VND

BPO - On the afternoon of May 27, Binh Phuoc Provincial Social Insurance (BSI) held a conference to evaluate the results of implementing social insurance and health insurance (HI) work in the first 5 months of the year and deploy some tasks in June. Attending the conference were Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tuyet Minh.

In the first 5 months of the year, the provincial Social Insurance has achieved certain results. It is estimated that by May 31, 2025, the number of people participating in social insurance and health insurance was 951,241, an increase of 8.7% over the same period last year, reaching 91.6% of the plan assigned by the Vietnam Social Insurance. In addition, the total revenue from social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance in the province was 1,962 billion 536 million VND. Regarding the collection of health insurance for students, up to now, the whole province has 209,199/213,898 students participating in health insurance, reaching 97.8% of the current number of students in the province.

Conference delegates

Accumulated from the beginning of the year to the end of May 2025, the payment of social insurance and health insurance was 914 billion 551 million VND. It is estimated that the whole province has resolved 13,335 new beneficiaries of social insurance and unemployment insurance, of which the total number of authorized recipients of one-time social insurance in the whole province is 6 out of a total of 4,794 one-time social insurance benefit applications.

Speaking at the conference, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tuyet Minh highly appreciated and expressed gratitude for the contributions of the Provincial Social Insurance for fulfilling its role as the main pillar of social security and contributing to the socio-economic development of Binh Phuoc . In the new context with new tasks, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tuyet Minh expressed her hope that the officers and employees of the Provincial Social Insurance will quickly adapt, promote and maintain the spirit of solidarity to complete the work well.
