On March 15, 2024, the Politburo issued Decision No. 1158-QDNS/TW for comrade Duong Van An - member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Binh Thuan province to cease participating in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and cease holding the position of Secretary of the Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term; to mobilize, assign, and appoint to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of the Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term.
At the same time, the Politburo assigned comrade Nguyen Hoai Anh - alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council to run the work of the Provincial Party Committee until the position of Secretary of the Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term is completed.
