Provincial Military Command improves the quality of management and exploitation of weapons and technical equipment

(LĐ online) - On the afternoon of August 22, the Provincial Military Command held a conference to review the implementation of the Campaign "Managing and exploiting good, durable, safe, economical and traffic-safe technical weapons and equipment" for the period 2020 - 2024.

Colonel Vy Thanh Minh - Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of the Provincial Military Command spoke at the conference.

In the period of 2020 - 2024, the Party Committee and the Provincial Military Command have led and directed agencies and units to successfully implement the objectives of the Campaign "Management and exploitation of good, durable, safe and economical technical weapons and equipment and traffic safety" (abbreviated as Campaign 50). The Provincial Steering Committee 50 has actively advised the Party Committee and the Provincial Military Command, coordinated with local departments, branches and sectors to thoroughly disseminate and seriously implement the Directives, directives and instructions of the Ministry of National Defense and Military Region 7, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Provincial Military Command on implementing Campaign 50 throughout the provincial armed forces.

Units under the Provincial Military Command signed a competition to implement Campaign 50.

Party committees and commanders at all levels have focused on leading, synchronously deploying, and effectively implementing the campaign in accordance with the actual conditions and characteristics of the unit; at the same time, they have done a good job of advising local Party committees and authorities, ensuring the necessary funding sources to effectively implement Campaign 50. Agencies and units have proactively consolidated the system of warehouses, garages, and internal traffic systems; invested in purchasing additional equipment and means to ensure the implementation of the campaign in accordance with the Resolution of the Provincial Military Party Committee.

Education and propaganda work has been paid attention to, maintained and well organized, thereby helping to raise awareness of cadres, non-commissioned officers, soldiers, militia and reserve forces about the responsibility of implementing Campaign 50, which has been continuously raised, contributing to the successful completion of all tasks of the provincial armed forces.

Colonel Nguyen Thanh Quang - Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command presented certificates of merit to individuals with achievements in implementing the 50th Campaign.

After 5 years of implementation, the Provincial Military Command has achieved important achievements in all 4 objectives of the campaign: Good management of technical equipment, durable exploitation of technical equipment, ensuring safety and practicing thrift. These objectives have been effectively implemented in all aspects from quantity, quality to depth, thereby contributing to the good implementation of the unit's annual military and defense tasks.

At the conference, units under the Provincial Military Command signed an emulation agreement to implement Campaign 50, phase 2025 - 2029.

On this occasion, the Provincial Military Command awarded certificates of merit to 14 collectives and 15 individuals who had achievements in implementing Campaign 50, period 2020 - 2024.
