The Ministry of Industry and Trade held a regular online meeting in April to evaluate and review the progress of the 500kV line 3 project from Quang Trach to Pho Noi. Comrade Nguyen Hong Dien, member of the Party Central Committee; Minister of Industry and Trade; Deputy Head of the State Steering Committee for important national programs, works and projects, key to the energy sector chaired the meeting. Attending the meeting at the Nam Dinh province bridge was comrade Ha Lan Anh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
Up to now, the projects under the 500kV line 3 project from Quang Trach to Pho Noi have completed the signing of contracts for 225/226 packages, 1 package for supplying electric resistance for the 500kV Quang Trach - Quynh Luu line project is completing the procedures for selecting contractors. The site has been handed over to 100% of the column foundation locations and 306/503 anchorage spaces, the foundation casting has been completed for 769/1177 locations, 331/1,177 steel column locations have been handed over, and 161/1,177 steel columns have been installed. At the conference, localities where the line passes through; ministries, agencies, departments and branches of the Central Government reported on the progress of work implementation according to specific functions and tasks and discussed and resolved difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process.
Concluding the conference, Mr. Nguyen Hong Dien, member of the Party Central Committee; Minister of Industry and Trade; Deputy Head of the State Steering Committee for important national programs, works and projects, key to the energy sector, highly appreciated the drastic participation of ministries, branches, localities and units so that the project could achieve remarkable results. However, according to the direction of the Government and the Prime Minister, the project has not yet achieved the set progress. He requested the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and the Government Office to coordinate to soon give opinions on the compensation and support policy framework for site clearance in April to submit to the Prime Minister for approval. Localities where the power line passes through should continue to mobilize people to support the site clearance work and the construction process, hand over the site of the anchorages before April 30, 2024 and soon hand over the route corridor to the construction units. EVN/EVNNPT continues to urge construction contractors to focus on human resources and construction machinery, promptly complete the construction of foundations and columns, and organize the installation of columns and stringing according to the committed schedule. Contractors supplying materials and equipment urgently complete the fabrication and transportation to the construction site for synchronous installation. Continue to implement 3 shifts, 4 teams, 24/7, rolling construction of items to shorten the construction time, ensuring the completion of construction work before June 15, 2024 to have time for testing and energizing before June 30, 2024 according to the direction of the Prime Minister./.
