The delegation visited and presented gifts to leaders and officials of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of An Giang province; pagodas: Ta Ngao, Moi pagoda (Tinh Bien ward); Giong Ke, Ta Teng, Tra Phot (Giang Thanh commune); Xa Xia, Mui Nai (Ha Tien ward); Thon Don, Phat Lon and Lang Cat pagoda (Rach Gia ward).

The delegation presented gifts to Ta Ngao Pagoda (Tinh Bien Ward).

At the places visited, Colonel Doan Dinh Tranh, Deputy Political Commissar of the Border Guard Command of An Giang province, head of the working delegation, kindly inquired about the health, life and activities of monks, abbots, prestigious people and Khmer people and sent wishes for a happy, warm and united Sene Don Ta year 2025.

Colonel Doan Dinh Tranh said that recently, the Party Committee and commanders of the Border Guard units of An Giang province have closely coordinated with local Party Committees and authorities to promote the role of monks and prestigious people in propagating and mobilizing Khmer people to actively participate in the movement of the whole people to protect territorial sovereignty and national border security.

Expressing their gratitude for the affection and concern of the An Giang Provincial Border Guard delegation, the abbots, monks, prestigious people and officials of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of An Giang Province affirmed to continue to set an example, encourage Buddhists to live a good life, follow their religion, and at the same time encourage Khmer people to strictly follow the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; and accompany Border Guard officers and soldiers in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
