This is implemented according to Decision No. 755 dated April 13 of the Prime Minister on the Project to arrange the inspection agency system to be streamlined, strong, efficient, effective and efficient.
Accordingly, the organization and personnel of the Government Inspectorate will be reorganized based on the termination of the operations of 12 Ministry Inspectorates and 5 department-level units of the Government Inspectorate; including the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Education and Training. The work will be completed before May 30, 2025.
At the working session between the Government Inspectorate and the Ministry of Education and Training on May 7, the two sides agreed on a list of civil servants of the Ministry of Education and Training Inspectorate to be handed over to the Government Inspectorate with 18 people; including 1 Chief Inspector, 1 Deputy Chief Inspector, 3 Department Heads, 2 Deputy Department Heads and 11 civil servants. The content related to the handover of financial consolidation, assets, and equipment related to the activities of the Ministry Inspectorate, transferred from the Ministry of Education and Training to the Government Inspectorate was also discussed at the working session.

Emphasizing the role of the Ministry of Education and Training Inspectorate, Deputy Minister Pham Ngoc Thuong said that over the past time, the Ministry Inspectorate has made many great contributions to the education and training sector. The inspection staff is of high quality, has good professional capacity in public service and has good moral qualities, working with a high sense of responsibility.
From mainly inspecting affiliated units, in recent years, the Ministry Inspectorate has properly performed its State management function, inspected the State management responsibilities of education of the People's Committees of provinces/cities and ministries; at the same time, inspected a number of complicated cases with good results, highly appreciated...
According to Mr. Thuong, the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Education and Training returning to the Government Inspectorate is like returning to the 'big house'. Mr. Thuong hopes that the Government Inspectorate will continue to train and foster civil servants of the Ministry Inspectorate and that cadres and civil servants will continue to promote their capacity and strengths, and successfully complete their assigned tasks.
Deputy Minister of Education and Training Pham Ngoc Thuong also expressed his hope that when the Ministry of Education and Training no longer has the inspection function, it will continue to receive support and assistance from the Government Inspectorate in the coming time so that the Ministry can successfully complete its assigned tasks.
At the meeting with all officers and civil servants of the Ministry of Education and Training Inspectorate before taking up their new duties on the afternoon of May 26, on behalf of 32 officers and civil servants of the Inspectorate, Chief Inspector Nguyen Duc Cuong expressed his sincere thanks to the Minister, Deputy Ministers and leaders, civil servants and public employees of the Ministry for accompanying, helping and supporting them during the past time.
As the last people, closing the 80-year history of education inspection, Mr. Nguyen Duc Cuong shared, "We can hold our heads high, approach and complete the new work excellently."
Up to now, the Government Inspectorate has received 7 Ministry Inspectors to the Government Inspectorate. The Ministry of Education and Training Inspectorate is the 8th unit to be received to the Government Inspectorate.
