The Department of Education and Training of Hung Yen province is responsible for strictly handling collectives and individuals who violate current regulations and reporting to the Ministry of Education and Training.

In March, the Ministry of Education and Training held an award ceremony for the above contest, including 12 first prizes.

The first prize winning project of students from Nguyen Sieu High School (Hung Yen) had its results canceled.

However, soon after, a first-prize winning project called Smart waste sorting system integrating artificial intelligence and sound sensors by students Vu Ngoc Anh and Vu Dinh Dang Hien, Nguyen Sieu High School (Hung Yen), was said to be similar to a product of a foreign expert.

Specifically, on the scientific integrity forum, some opinions said that the project of the high school students had many similarities with the product of Samuel Alexander, an expert who published it on an international online platform for the engineering community and technology enthusiasts.

The Ministry of Education and Training has inspected and canceled the exam results of the group of authors who violated the contest regulations and other regulations of the industry.
