Kindness and responsibility make a lasting celebrity brand

A deviant behavior from a celebrity can easily become a 'deviant standard' for a part of the public, especially the young. Therefore, more than anyone else, they need to understand that each of their actions and words has the power to spread and can impact others.

With reputation comes responsibility

In the age of information explosion and social media, it seems easier for an individual to become famous. The dazzling halo, the public's pursuit and advertising contracts can come overnight. However, is that fame sustainable or just a temporary phenomenon, easily come and go like a fleeting trend?

Reality has proven that a solid personal brand cannot rely solely on instant fame. Aura can attract attention, but kindness, responsibility and respect for the law are the factors that create depth and core values. Celebrities, more than anyone else, need to be aware that they are role models and inspirations for millions of fans, especially young people. Therefore, their every action and word have a strong influence on the community.

"Society needs to reinvent the concept of influencer so that reputation is associated with real value, not just views or followers."

Once stepping into the limelight, celebrities not only bring with them talent but also social responsibility. Violating the law, even the smallest one, not only damages the individual’s image but also causes negative consequences for society. It can shake public confidence, set a bad precedent, and even encourage substandard behavior. On the contrary, when a celebrity lives responsibly, obeys the law, and spreads positive values, they will become an admirable icon, motivating everyone to strive for good things.

True fame is not the result of tricks or scandals, but must come from real ability and meaningful contributions to the community. A singer is loved not only for his appearance, but for his voice that touches the hearts of listeners. An actor is recognized not only for his flashy appearance on the screen, but for his excellent transformation and memorable roles. Similarly, a famous person in any field, from science , business to sports, must prove his worth through specific achievements and positive contributions to society.

When a reputation is built on the foundation of genuine talent and real contributions, it will have a strong vitality, overcoming all the challenges of time. It is a lasting reputation, respected and remembered by the public, not only for who they are but for what they have done.

Temporary fame can bring instant fame, but only kindness, responsibility, respect for the law, real ability and meaningful contributions to the community are the key factors to create a sustainable personal brand. Because the true value of a celebrity lies in the depth of their soul and the positive influence they bring to life.

Kindness - the foundation for a lasting reputation

From his perspective, Dr. Trinh Le Anh, University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU), believes that respecting the law is not something that should be done, but a mandatory duty of every citizen. In particular, celebrities need to be exemplary in fulfilling their social responsibilities. When they have influence on the community, their behavior does not stop at the personal level, but also creates a social effect. A deviant behavior from a celebrity can easily become a "deviant standard" for a part of the public, especially the youth.

"We cannot equate fame with the privilege of being immune from responsibility. On the contrary, the more famous we are, the more strict we need to be with ourselves in our speech, behavior and compliance with the law. Because kindness and responsibility are what create lasting depth for a personal brand, not just temporary glory," Dr. Trinh Le Anh expressed.

In modern society, celebrities are not only artists, athletes or successful businessmen, but also people who have influence on the public through social networks and media. They are admired, sought after, and sometimes become role models for many people to follow. Therefore, they need to be more aware than ever of their role and social responsibility, especially in upholding the law.

"Celebrities, more than anyone else, need to understand that every action and word of theirs has the power to spread and can impact others."

The law is not a barrier but a foundation to maintain fairness and order in society. When an ordinary person breaks the law, it is a wrongful act that needs to be dealt with. But when a celebrity breaks the law, the negative impact goes beyond the individual’s behavior and also entails major social consequences. The collapse of public trust can be widespread, especially among young people who are forming their perceptions and values in life.

A sustainable personal brand is not built by flashy glamour or social media followers. It is formed by kindness, responsible attitude and the way that person faces society and the community. Those values not only help that individual be loved but also inspire positive things for society.

True fame is not about the level of fame, but about how people use that fame to contribute. Artists who choose to bring their voices to remote areas, businessmen who use their profits to build schools, support medical care , these are the clearest examples showing that sustainability does not come from temporary flashiness but from sincere and responsible giving.

In the digital age, the rise of online phenomena, where the title “celebrity” becomes easy to use, even abused. Therefore, Dr. Trinh Le Anh believes that it is necessary to build a mediaeducation and digital responsibility mechanism, raising public awareness about being famous.

"Social media platforms also need to have a clearer set of standards on content and violations, especially strict handling of cases of incitement, cultural deviation, or violations of the law. Society needs to recreate the concept of influencers so that reputation is associated with real value, not just the number of views or followers," emphasized Dr. Trinh Le Anh.

Recently, there has been no shortage of examples of people who were once famous but collapsed just because of one time of disregarding the law, behaving irresponsibly, making inappropriate statements or unintentionally abetting false advertising of milk, functional foods, cosmetics...

Celebrities, more than anyone else, need to understand that each of their actions and words has the power to spread and influence others. Therefore, they need to live decently, obey the law and act responsibly, not only to preserve their reputation, but also for the health of a society that increasingly values ethical and legal standards.

When the spotlight goes off, what remains is their personality, their values and what they have contributed that leave an impression on the public.
