On May 28, the Dak Lak Departmentof Education and Training informed that 97 students from Phu Yen had registered to study in Dak Lak while following their parents to work in the new province.
Of these, there are 32 preschool children, 37 primary school students, 22 secondary school students and 6 high school students.

The Dak Lak Department of Education and Training has coordinated with the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot City and the City Department of Education and Training to develop a suitable arrangement plan for students. Priority will be given to arranging schools that are convenient for parents to pick up and drop off.
According to the plan to arrange provincial administrative units after the merger, Phu Yen province will have more than 1,600 cadres, civil servants and public employees working in Dak Lak.
The total estimated budget for supporting transportation and accommodation for officials, civil servants and workers is more than 1.2 billion VND per month.
Dak Lak province has developed plans to arrange vehicles, housing, and offices for officials, civil servants, and workers after the merger. The province will utilize available public housing to arrange accommodations for officials and civil servants.
At the same time, the province also continues to review, supplement and research the construction of social housing specifically for civil servants after the province's merger.
According to the Central Government's policy, Dak Lak province will merge with Phu Yen province, named Dak Lak province, with the new political and administrative center expected to be located in Buon Ma Thuot city.
The new Dak Lak province will have an area of over 18,000 km2, a population of over 3.3 million people, and 102 commune-level administrative units (Dak Lak has 68 units and Phu Yen has 34 units).
