Ministry of Agriculture and Environment launches national campaign in response to World Environment Day

Accordingly, the key activities are organizing rallies, community forums, “no single-use plastic” days, collecting and sorting waste at source, exhibiting recycled products and circular economic models; launching “no plastic” movements at schools, supermarkets, markets, and offices; launching mass environmental sanitation, collecting and sorting plastic waste at source in urban, rural, and residential areas, etc.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment also requested localities to promote multimedia communication, innovate the dissemination of environmental protection policies, and support businesses to invest in modern recycling technology and produce environmentally friendly products. In particular, using policy communication as a lever to promote law enforcement, change behavior and create clear changes in controlling environmental pollution, especially pollution caused by plastic waste.

The core message of this year's campaign is "Act today, live green tomorrow - Reduce plastic, protect the ocean, protect the future".

The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment requests that agencies, based on actual conditions, organize practical activities in response to World Environment Day and the Month of Action for the Environment in 2025.
