The report presented by Major General Vu Viet Hung, Director of the Department of Military Training - Schools (General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army), stated that, implementing the decisions and instructions above, in 2025, in the Army, there were 83 candidates registered for consideration and proposal for recognition of meeting the standards for the titles of Professor and Associate Professor. After passing the review councils, 78 candidates were recognized by the State Council of Professors as meeting the standards for the titles of Professor and Associate Professor. Of which, more than 50% of the titles were in the field of military science, the rest were in the fields of chemistry, medicine, information technology, electricity - electronics - automation, physics, mechanics, mechanics, economics, transportation, pharmacy, culture; there were 4 female teachers...
The highlight is that the number of teachers meeting the standards for the title of Professor and Associate Professor in 2025 has increased significantly compared to previous years. The youngest teacher is Colonel Nguyen Trung Kien (born in 1977), Department of Military Medicine, General Department of Logistics and Technology; the youngest associate professors are Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Hung and Lieutenant Colonel Le Van Thao (born in 1985), Military Technical Academy. Some officer schools in the Army have teachers meeting the standards for the title of Associate Professor for the first time, such as: Chemical Officer School, Special Forces Officer School, Air Force Officer School, and Engineering Officer School.

Teachers and scientists in the Army who are considered and recognized as meeting the standards of Professors and Associate Professors every year are gradually getting younger, their capacity and qualifications are improved in all aspects; more and more comrades are authors of valuable scientific works, effectively applied in the military, national defense and socio-economic development of the country. Especially in recent years, the standards and selection process for Professors and Associate Professors have been gradually innovated, towards international integration; the number of Professors and Associate Professors has gradually increased, each year higher than the previous year, exceeding the set target. These are positive changes, in the right direction, and are the efforts of innovation and creativity of academies, schools and scientific research facilities throughout the Army.

Faced with the requirement of fundamental and comprehensive reform of education and training and breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation, creativity, and national digital transformation, in order to successfully fulfill assigned functions and tasks, General Nguyen Tan Cuong requested the team of teachers, scientists, educational managers, especially professors and associate professors in the Army to continue to promote the good qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, promote studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, constantly strive, cultivate and train to be worthy of the titles and titles recognized by the Party, State and Army. For academies, schools and scientific research facilities in the entire army, it is necessary to continue to thoroughly grasp, seriously and effectively implement the policies and directions of the Party and State on education, training, and science and technology development; resolutions of party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, Resolution of the 12th Military Party Congress, and Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress. Focus on innovating content, programs and plans to meet the goals and requirements of training and scientific research.
Promote and replicate new models and creative approaches in training and scientific research. Build a smart, modern, and exemplary school; develop and apply science and technology, innovation, creativity and digital transformation in the Army by 2030 to be among the leading groups in the country, with some fields reaching international standards. At the same time, build a team of teachers, scientists and educational managers who meet the standards prescribed by the State and the Ministry of National Defense, with sufficient numbers, reasonable structure and increasingly high quality, contributing to the strong and steady development of the Army's training and scientific research, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
