Minister Nguyen Manh Hung visits businesses at Da Nang Software Park 2

DNVN - On July 28, during his working trip to Da Nang, Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Manh Hung visited and learned about the activities of units and enterprises at Da Nang Software Park No. 2.

Minister Nguyen Manh Hung and the delegation of the Ministry of Science and Technology visited the VLSI - Physical Design training class organized by the Danang Center for Research and Training in Microchip Design and Artificial Intelligence (AI) (DSAC) in collaboration with Synopsys Vietnam Co., Ltd., Sovico Group and TreSemi Technology Expert Organization (USA).

Mr. Anthony Tuan Phan introduced to Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Manh Hung the activities of AIAIVN Company at Da Nang Software Park No. 2.

Mr. Phil Hoang - Senior Technical Manager, Skyworks Solutions, Inc. directly taught the class with the participation of 38 lecturers and final year students majoring in Semiconductor Microchip (VMBD) or related majors from training institutions in Da Nang City. The program started in April and is expected to be completed in August 2025.

On this occasion, Minister Nguyen Manh Hung also met and discussed with 26 start-up enterprises operating in the field of VMBD and AI at Da Nang Software Park No. 2, which are supported with premises according to the city's policy mechanisms; visited the office ofFPT Corporation - a strategic partner of Da Nang in the field of VMBD and AI according to Resolution 58/2024/NQ-HDND of the City People's Council.

At the places he visited and learned about practical activities, Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Manh Hung listened to recommendations from the business community, aiming to contribute to perfecting support policies and promoting connections between the subjects: government - training institutions - enterprises - research units in developing high-tech ecosystems.

Minister Nguyen Manh Hung spent a lot of time learning about the business situation, human resources and innovative products of Vietnam Artificial Intelligence Joint Stock Company (AIAIVN). Mr. Anthony Tuan Phan - founder and CEO of AIAIVN introduced to the delegation the AI ​​application products in tourism and services that the unit is developing, the opportunities and challenges that the business is facing.

According to Minister Nguyen Manh Hung, there are three essential things for a new business in this field to succeed. One is to master the expertise - this is a big problem, one of the core things to bring Vietnam to the world. The second is to ensure favorable working conditions, and the third is that the income of workers is always increased along with the development of the company.

Mr. Anthony Tuan Phan said that through contact with senior leaders of the Ministry of Science and Technology, AIAIVN and other startups clearly saw the attention, preferential policy directions, and connection between startups - government - state to jointly build innovation orientations, promote the development of AI and new technologies according to the Central Government's policy.

“This is an opportunity for new businesses like AIAIVN to not only share their stories but also contribute to forming a sustainable technology development roadmap for the city and the startup community in Da Nang as well as Vietnam,” Mr. Anthony Tuan Phan emphasized.
