On the occasion of the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 – December 22, 2025) and the 36th anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 – December 22, 2025), on December 16, a delegation from the Ho Chi Minh City Command, led by Major General Pham Nhu Quan, Deputy Political Commissar of the City Command, visited cemeteries, memorials, and memorial houses in the city to offer incense and flowers in remembrance of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and heroic martyrs.

The attendees included the heads of agencies and units under the Ho Chi Minh City Command.

The delegation visited and offered incense and flowers at the Ben Duoc Martyrs' Memorial Temple, Cu Chi Martyrs' Cemetery (An Nhon Tay commune), Ho Chi Minh City Policy Cemetery (Phu Hoa Dong commune), the Memorial House of Heroic Vietnamese Mother - Hero of the People's Armed Forces Nguyen Thi Ranh (Trai Den hamlet, Tan An Hoi commune), and at the Nga Ba Giong National Historical Site (Ba Diem commune).




At cemeteries, memorials, and commemorative houses, in an atmosphere of solemnity, reverence, and boundless gratitude, delegates offered incense and flowers; observed a moment of silence to respectfully express their profound gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh , the heroic Vietnamese Mothers, and the heroic martyrs who bravely sacrificed themselves for national independence, national reunification, and the happiness of the people.
