The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requires its affiliated units to effectively organize activities in response to the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

Accordingly, implementing the direction of the Prime Minister in Official Dispatch No. 50/CD-TTg dated April 24, 2025 on strengthening the work of ensuring security and order on the occasion of April 30 and May 1; Project on organizing activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day and the implementation of communication and press work to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism requests:

Agencies and units under the Ministry organize forces and means to be on duty regularly, effectively and substantially implement the Prime Minister's direction on ensuring security, order, fire prevention and fighting.

Direct and organize activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification to ensure safety, practicality and effectiveness. Pay special attention to organizing communication activities well, providing information to press agencies before, during and after events and activities to ensure completeness, timeliness, smoothness, synchronization and accuracy.

The Departments: Press; Radio, Television and Electronic Information; Grassroots Information and External Information proactively coordinate with specialized agencies of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, Vietnam Journalists Association to direct news agencies, press and media to promote propaganda, dissemination of skills, knowledge, laws to ensure security, order, fire prevention, fighting, social order and safety; activities in the Project to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

Actively coordinate closely with specialized agencies of the Ministry of Public Security to proactively detect and prevent bad and toxic information that divides the great national unity bloc and affects Vietnam's foreign relations with international friends on cyberspace during activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.

Timely coordinate with relevant agencies to advise the Ministry's leaders on handling outstanding issues and hot spots arising during activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

  Strengthening propaganda work to celebrate major holidays and important historical events of the country.

Departments: Performing Arts; Cinema; Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions: Thoroughly grasp, orient and direct art units, film studios, and art exhibition centers to strengthen the control of the content of art works before performing and displaying them to serve the people.

Actively coordinate with relevant agencies to ensure security, order, fire prevention and fighting at art programs and related events.

Vietnam National Administration of Tourism: Strengthen management and inspection of service quality for tourists during the April 30 and May 1 holidays, especially in Ho Chi Minh City, where activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification will take place; Direct and strengthen the promotion of Vietnamese tourism, especially summer tourism in 2025.

The Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Culture and Sports; Tourism of provinces and centrally-run cities, based on their assigned functions and tasks, shall strengthen the dissemination of knowledge, skills, knowledge, and laws to ensure security, order, fire prevention and fighting, and social order and safety in the area.

Actively coordinate with relevant units to review, inspect and strictly manage the content and form of propaganda serving cultural, sports and tourism activities and events in the area. Timely detect and coordinate to handle and prevent bad and toxic information that divides the great national unity bloc, affecting Vietnam's foreign relations with international friends, especially in cyberspace.

Culture Newspaper and Culture and Arts Magazine organize propaganda to raise awareness of all classes of people about ensuring security, order, fire prevention, fire fighting, and social order and safety before, during and after the April 30 and May 1 holidays.

Improve the quality of columns and in-depth news articles reflecting cultural, artistic, sports, tourism activities... nationwide through printed and electronic newspaper products with new, modern, and attractive content and presentation methods, contributing to affirming the significance and stature of the Great Spring Victory in 1975, liberating the South, and unifying the country to a wide range of people in the country, overseas Vietnamese and many international friends.

Proactively provide official information and sources to national press agencies about national-level activities chaired by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with ministries, branches and localities to advise on organization.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requests agencies, units and localities to seriously implement and promptly report to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism through the Press Department and the Ministry's Office if there are new, outstanding issues arising beyond their authority./.
