Accordingly, the Drug Administration has sent notices to the Departments of Health of provinces and centrally-run cities and BSSC Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Group Company Limited (previously registered at 144 Ngo Quynh, Thanh Nhan Street, Thanh Nhan Ward, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi City; current business address at 1st floor, No. 8, Lane 89, Dam Quang Trung Street, Long Bien, Hanoi City), requesting the recall of all violating products.

The products suspended from circulation include: Slightly Dark Beauty Essence (receipt number: 118458/20/CBMP-QLD); Eijun Beauty Essence (118461/20/CBMP-QLD); Element Repair Essence (118463/20/CBMP-QLD); Licorice Extract Solution (118469/20/CBMP-QLD); and Beauty Skin Repair Mask (118470/20/CBMP-QLD), all of which were issued with a receipt number on February 11, 2020.

According to the leader of the Drug Administration Department, the above products when circulating on the market have formulas that are not consistent with the published records, violating regulations on cosmetic management.

The Department requests the Departments of Health to notify cosmetic businesses and users in the area to immediately stop trading and using violating products, and at the same time organize recalls and returns to the suppliers.

The Department also directed localities to inspect and supervise the recovery process and strictly handle violators according to current regulations.

Regarding BSSC Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Group Company Limited, the Department requires sending a recall notice to all distribution and usage locations of the above 5 products; receiving returned products and recalling and destroying the entire batch of goods that do not meet regulations.

The recall results report must be sent to the Drug Administration of Vietnam before August 30, 2025. At the same time, the Hanoi Department of Health is assigned to monitor the recall process of BSSC Company and report the results to the Department before September 10, 2025.

This move shows tightening of management in the cosmetics sector, aiming to protect consumer rights and ensure the quality of products circulating on the market.

People who have purchased products on the recalled list should stop using them immediately and contact the place of purchase to return them according to the instructions of the authorities.
