The training was attended by 120 delegates who were village officials, community representatives, groups, branch and union officials, poverty reduction collaborators, and prestigious people from 12 communes and towns.
During the 1-day session, delegates were informed about the State's policy on legal aid and the 2017 Law on Legal Aid; the purpose and significance of legal aid; regulations on people eligible for legal aid, people providing legal aid, legal aid procedures; and legal aid contributes to sustainable poverty reduction.
In addition, delegates were educated about the law through a number of practical situations from the grassroots level about civil affairs, marriage and family, etc.
Through training, it creates conditions for grassroots officials to supplement their legal knowledge, ensure civil rights, social justice, create closeness and trust for people in need of accessing legal aid services in particular and policies and laws of the Party and State in general.
