On the night of June 22, at the AVC Nations Cup taking place in Manama (Bahrain), Indonesia had an unbelievable comeback to defeat the Vietnamese men's volleyball team 3-2 in the 5-8 ranking match.

The win helps Indonesia qualify for the fifth-place match with Australia while Vietnam will have to face Chinese Taipei in the seventh-place match.

The five-game match that lasted until midnight exhausted both teams.

The match between Indonesia and Vietnam was full of excitement when the defending SEA Games champion Indonesia unexpectedly lost the first two games with close scores of 23-25 ​​and 24-26.
