In the other qualifying match, Australia defeated Chinese Taipei 3-1 (25-22, 20-25, 25-12, 25-19) with D'Arcy-Miles leading the scorer with 18 points. Australia will face Indonesia in the fifth-place match while Vietnam will face Chinese Taipei in the seventh-place match on the evening of June 23.
