BYD e7 2025 - BYD's low-cost electric sedan for taxi use

The new BYD e7 2025 sedan model has had some exterior details removed by the Chinese automaker to reduce costs, targeting the need to buy cars for service purposes.

According to Car News China, BYD has just launched the electric BYD e7 2025 sedan targeting customers who buy cars for service thanks to its affordable price.

The BYD e7 electric sedan belongs to the Chinese automaker's e-Series, which specializes in providing low-cost electric vehicles while still being in the Ocean Series, which includes models such as Dolphin, Seal or Seal-U.

The dimensions of length x width x height of BYD e7 are 4,780 x 1,900 x 1,515 mm respectively, wheelbase 2,820 mm. BYD e7 applies Marine Aesthetics design language with elongated headlights, sloping hood, trapezoidal air vents and 2 side air vents at the front of the car.

The rear of the car is quite simple with 2 separate taillight clusters. Details such as traditional door handles, 16-inch wheels or the absence of a 360-degree camera and front parking sensors indicate that the BYD e7 is a low-cost car. In return, the BYD e7 is still equipped with a sunroof.

BYD's low-cost electric sedan is equipped with a 134-horsepower electric motor that can run up to 150 km/h. The car uses LFP batteries, but the battery capacity and maximum operating range have not been announced.

The price of the BYD e7 2025 has not yet been announced. However, according to Car News China, the electric car model specifically for taxis is expected to become an ideal choice thanks to its practical design and reasonable operating costs.
