- Singer - musician HOANG LUAN: I would like to send my greetings and thanks to the Lao Dong Newspaper for launching this meaningful contest. As a young musician, I want to contribute positive spiritual values to my homeland and country. Both songs have a joyful, modern spirit and praise the dynamic, civilized city after many changes. Seeing the city's innovation and growth every day, no lyrics or music can fully express this love. I only contribute a little bit of my heart with these melodies of praise.

What do you want to convey in this song?

- Nothing is more precious than the value of peace . When living in a peaceful country, we have to give up many things. A dynamic, modern city needs the consensus, joint protection and preservation of all of us.

"Today's City" with vibrant EDM material, proud of a city through many changes and the hearts of expatriates who always miss and miss this city. "Colorful City" with funky personality, like a multi-dimensional picture of an integrated city, very suitable for young people to have a more positive view of traditional, encouraging and praising songs.

With the theme of composing about the country, in your opinion, how can the song easily enter people's hearts?

- The song must be familiar, simple, rustic and popular to suit the majority of the audience. In particular, it must be easy to listen to, easy to remember and catchy.

What do you think needs to be done to make this genre of writing more popular and widespread?

- Music is aimed at the masses and education, especially for young audiences. We need musical materials that are in line with modern trends but still retain personality and color, ensuring aesthetics in content. In addition, we need to promote communication to reach the masses.

If you talk about your feelings and emotions for this city, what are they?

- That is the lifestyle, with the people here being gentle, warm and very generous. This good land has given birth to such people. In addition, the architecture, both classical and modern through each period of time, has always made Hoang Luan passionate about this city.

How can a young person like you fully see the important events of the country and describe those events with music that is both historical and artistic?

- Hoang Luan thinks that every artist's soul is sensitive and has a special love for their country. Because that is where our family and loved ones are, and it is also where we have a peaceful life. As a young musician, my colleagues and I need to have a fresh and more colorful view of patriotism in general and love for the city in particular.

The songwriting campaign "The Country is Full of Joy" was organized by the Lao Dong Newspaper to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). Up to now, the Organizing Committee has received 80 songs from nearly 60 authors from all over the country.

The prize structure of the songwriting campaign "The Country is Full of Joy" includes: 1 first prize worth 100 million VND, 1 second prize worth 50 million VND, 2 third prizes - each worth 30 million VND, 3 consolation prizes - each worth 10 million VND. The Organizing Committee has just announced an additional prize of "The most favorite work of readers" worth 5 million VND.

The Organizing Committee will select the 20 best works for the final round. The final round will take place in February 2025 and the award ceremony of the campaign is expected to take place in April 2025. The Organizing Committee will post the works on the newspaper's social media platforms to introduce them to the community and promote them at Music Exchange programs held at Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper.

The Organizing Committee will select good works to stage and introduce at the 30th Mai Vang Awards ceremony (expected on January 8, 2025).
