Vietnam - Singapore Vocational College won the gold medal at the "Robot RacingBots 2025" competition

(NLDO) - The competition was held at Vietnam - Singapore Vocational College, bringing together 18 teams from colleges in the Southern region.

On October 24, at Vietnam - Singapore Vocational College (Thuan Giao Ward, Ho Chi Minh City), the final round of the RacingBots 2025 robot competition and innovation contest took place.

This year's competition brings together 18 teams from colleges in the Southern region, encouraging creativity, application of technology and technical skills in robotics in general and technology in particular.

According to the rules, the teams design and build their own robots according to the regulations of the organizing committee with strict size and weight limits, using wireless control and a power source not exceeding 24VDC.

Each match takes place between 2 teams, robots start from 2 corners of the field, pass the shuttlecock, compete for the ball and bring the ball to the designated basket to score points.

In the final match this afternoon, between the Vietnam - Singapore Vocational College and Cao Thang Technical College, the two teams brought breathtaking emotions, with an extremely tense and dramatic match that was pushed up from the very first second, when the robot had just crossed the bridge and collided violently, causing the ball to fly out of control.

At the beginning of the match, the robot of Cao Thang Technical College had the advantage, with strong collisions, however, the team of Vietnam - Singapore Vocational College was still confident in defending with "fiery" attacks and had an extremely impressive comeback to win the championship.

Speaking at the closing ceremony and awarding ceremony, Dr. Tran Hung Phong, Principal of Vietnam - Singapore Vocational College, assessed that this year's teams had prepared carefully and professionally. According to Dr. Tran Hung Phong, coming to this playground is not important who wins or loses, but it is an opportunity for students to learn by themselves through real projects.

He believes that from the idea, manufacturing to control, the students experience the entire process of a real engineer. That is the most important educational value that the competition brings.

At the competition, many local businesses attended and "placed orders" with the Vietnam - Singapore Vocational College to train students to meet business needs.

On this occasion, 16 colleges signed the operating regulations of the Technology Engineering Club.
