Singer Tung Duong received the Japan Music Award

The Music Awards Japan (MAJ 2025) is the largest international music award in the Land of the Rising Sun. MAJ is a professional playground founded by the Cultural and Entertainment Industry Promotion Association of Japan (CEIPA), with a voting committee of more than 5,000 music experts from Japan and internationally.

The International Special Awards is a category established through the collaboration between CEIPA and music award organizations from 6 countries: China, Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines and Vietnam.

This award was formed from the cooperation between the MAJ Organizing Committee and the Vietnam Devotion Music Award Organizing Committee organized by the Sports and Culture Newspaper (Vietnam News Agency).

Singer Tung Duong was honored in the category of "International Special Awards", marking not only Tung Duong but also Vietnamese music on the Asian music map.

According to the official announcement from the MAJ 2025 Organizing Committee, singer Tung Duong will attend the awards ceremony on May 21-22 at the ROHM Theater in Kyoto, Japan. This is one of the most anticipated music events in the region, with 60 award categories, gathering a series of big names and broadcast live on NHK and broadcast globally via digital platforms.

On May 4, 2025, singer Tung Duong performed at the Festival "Vietnam's Heart - 50 Years of Harmony" held at Hanazono Central Park (Higashi Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture, Japan) organized by the Vietnam-Japan Global Cultural Promotion Organization (VJCP) in coordination with associations and Vietnamese communities in the Kansai region on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day. The event was sponsored by the Consulate General of Vietnam in Osaka and the Higashi Osaka City Government.
