Irrigation lakes in Chi Linh are no longer dry.

In recent days, it has rained in Chi Linh City (Hai Duong), so many irrigation lakes have been supplemented with a significant amount of water and are no longer dry.

On the morning of May 26, the water level at Ho Ven Lake in Le Loi Commune and Suoi Gang Lake in Hoang Tien Ward both reached 2 m. Previously, from April 25 to May 14, the water level at these two lakes had dropped to the lowest level in the past few years, with some locations having dried up to the bottom.

The water level at some other irrigation lakes in Chi Linh city such as Trai Sen (Van An ward), Chin Thuong (Bac An commune), Phu Loi (belonging to Hoang Tan and Cong Hoa wards) has reached 3.1 - 3.75 m...

Previously, from the beginning of the year to mid-April, the water level in the irrigation reservoirs in Chi Linh gradually decreased due to little rain. People's production faced the risk of drought. The City's Irrigation Works Exploitation Enterprise had to develop drought prevention plans for each area.

Chi Linh City currently has 68 irrigation lakes, of which 8 are managed by the City Irrigation Works Exploitation Enterprise. The remaining 60 small-scale lakes are managed by the Agricultural Service Cooperatives of communes and wards.

The above 8 lakes are responsible for regulating irrigation water for over 543 hectares of production land in the communes and wards of Hoang Tan, Cong Hoa, Hoang Tien, Le Loi, Bac An and Van An.
