Talented guitarists from Austria, Australia, and Italy continue to come to the 2025 International Guitar Festival at Duy Tan University

After the success of the first time held in 2024, the 2nd Danang International Guitar Festival (DIGF) will return to Duy Tan University for 3 days from December 19-21, 2025. With the spirit of "New look, New mark", this Festival brings together famous international artists from Australia, Austria, Italy along with Danang Guitar, promising to bring a very special musical space, contributing to inspiring the hearts of those who love the art of Classical Guitar.

Artists Campbell Diamond (Austria), Adriano Del Sal (Italy) and Australian-Vietnamese artist Le Hoang Minh have accepted the invitation from the Organizing Committee and will officially perform at the Festival, along with Vietnamese artists Phan Xuan Tri, Huynh Ba Tho, Nguyen Ngoc San, Nguyen Duy Quoc Anh and the Dream Oasis Guitar Ensemble.

Right at the 1st Danang International Guitar Festival held in 2024, the passion for guitar from many young people was clearly seen. Not only did they listen attentively to each performance, but the young people also participated in:

to learn about the origins of Classical Guitar with artist Kim Sang Gil.

Having won the prestigious "Michele Pittaluga" Competition, the artist Adriano Del Sal (Italy) is being organized by the City of Alessandria on a 40-concert tour around the world.

“Classical Guitar music is a very relaxing and accessible genre, not something too esoteric or scholarly. However, to form a habit of enjoying it, it is important to create opportunities for the audience to be exposed to this music regularly. When given the opportunity to listen and feel, the audience will gradually form an emotional connection with the music, realizing the subtle, profound beauty that Classical Guitar brings,” said guitarist Phan Xuan Tri, in charge of Danang Guitar.

Even artist Padet Netpakdee had previously made very objective comments: "Young Vietnamese people play guitar very well, their playing is professional and especially they have good English skills so it is very easy to access the lessons."

As a member of the Guitar Trek Quartet, artist Le Hoang Minh won many first prizes at the prestigious competitions “Adelaide Spring Guitar” 2001, “50th Tokyo International Guitar Competition” 2007 and was invited to be a judge in many international guitar competitions, including the prestigious “Guitar Foundation of America” in the US.

At the 2nd Danang International Guitar Festival, many activities to develop the art of Classical Guitar will be held such as:

In addition, a workshop with the theme “Organic Coffee Culture and Music” will be held, with the participation of two coffee experts, Mr. Su Dran and Mr. Ho Thang, with the spirit of bringing a space connecting art and sustainable lifestyle, helping participants experience the harmony between natural coffee flavors and deep classical guitar melodies, contributing to promoting the culture of enjoying art in the community.

“When I was a student, because I loved classical guitar, I traveled far and wide to find a teacher to learn it. I studied in Hue and then moved to Ho Chi Minh City and gradually realized that guitar was my life. When I returned to Da Nang, I saw that there were many young people with the same passion as me, but in this 'livable city', although it is developing strongly in many aspects, the Classical Guitar and Chamber Music fields are still very limited, there are not many playgrounds for young people. I really want to develop the art of Classical Guitar to become a cultural highlight, a new feature in the artistic life of Da Nang City,” artist Phan Xuan Tri shared.

From here, artist Le Hoang Minh and artist Phan Xuan Tri have spent more than 10 years persistently on a passionate journey to build and spread Classical Guitar in Vietnam and especially in Da Nang. Both artists are also the founders and organizers of the Da Nang International Guitar Festival.

The “living space” of Classical Guitar is not yet abundant, but with the efforts of artists in organizing good concerts such as the Danang International Guitar Festival, this art form is gradually spreading widely, gradually touching the hearts of the audience and becoming a “spiritual food” for the majority of music lovers, especially the youth.

Having built a passion for music lovers, artist Phan Xuan Tri has been focusing on training young artists. The Dream Oasis Guitar Ensemble is a group of young guitar talents who have been directly guided by artist Phan Xuan Tri for many years and are loved by the audience through each performance, especially from the 1st Danang International Guitar Festival at Duy Tan University.
