Candidates complete the first 7 specialized subjects

The officers on duty at the examination council of Ha Long High School for the Gifted continued to fulfill their assigned duties and responsibilities, ensuring the exam was serious and fair.

Most candidates have the same opinion that the specialized subject exam has knowledge at the application and high application level, ensuring the classification of students; requiring candidates to get high scores not only in knowledge but also in skills proficiency and thinking ability.

The first exam session of the specialized program took place in extremely hot weather conditions, which significantly affected the health of the candidates. However, at the Examination Council of Ha Long Specialized High School, all conditions regarding facilities, medical care , electricity, water, fans, air conditioning, etc. to serve the exam were well guaranteed.

After 150 minutes of focused, stressful testing, the candidates left the exam hall to the cheers and encouragement of young volunteers supporting the exam season.

Authorities and volunteers are also on duty at the exam sites, making every effort to complete their tasks to ensure security and safety for the exam organization. At the exam rooms, invigilators strictly and fully implement the exam procedures and processes, ensuring fairness for all candidates.

According to a quick report from the provincial Department of Education and Training, in the afternoon of June 2, 438 candidates were present for the specialized subject exam out of a total of 442 candidates registered for the exam. There were 4 candidates absent and did not participate in the exam (1 candidate in Chinese and 3 candidates in Information Technology).

Many candidates were in a relaxed and happy mood because they did relatively well on their exam.

Tomorrow morning, June 3, candidates will register to take the entrance exam to Ha Long High School for the Gifted in the remaining specialized subjects, including: Math, Chemistry, Literature, English; test time is 150 minutes.

In this year's entrance exam, the number of candidates registering for specialized classes at Ha Long Specialized High School was 1,010, a decrease of 89 candidates compared to last year.

Teachers from Tran Quoc Toan Secondary School were present at the exam site, asking and encouraging students.

The school enrolls 12 specialized classes in the following subjects: Math, Informatics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Literature, History, Geography, English, Chinese and French, of which 2 specialized English classes enroll, each class enrolls no more than 35 students.
