The 34th Corps has concretized the learning and following of Uncle Ho through a series of models such as: "1 study, 2 do, 3 love, 4 say", "3 exemplary", "4 no's", "3 yes's", "3 should's" in building cadres; "Minutes of Uncle Ho's words", "Letter to soldiers", "Every day a life lesson"... These models not only spread profound humanistic values but also improve the quality of Party work and political work in the entire Corps.
Colonel Vo Son Anh - Political Commissar of Division 320 - said: To meet the increasing requirements, the Division pays special attention to training and fostering cadres in accordance with reality, delving into new and difficult issues; management, command and training methods for each position.
The unit also focuses on promoting the exemplary role and sense of responsibility of cadres and party members in training and combat readiness through effective models such as: "1 on 1", "Commander closely follows troops", "One content per week", "Infantry combat technical team". In particular, the model "Infantry combat technical team" has become a bright spot that has created the brand "3 good explosions" in training new soldiers for 12 years.
Not stopping at training, Division 320 also strongly develops profound politicaleducation models, close to soldiers' lives such as: "Every month a story of the unit's history", "Sharing love and camaraderie", "Every day a life lesson"... Through these models, officers and soldiers are more proud of the unit, attached to their comrades, and raise their sense of responsibility in performing their tasks.
The model of “Saving money for a better future” of Division 10 has also made its mark in the entire Corps. Deployed since 2018, the model has attracted 100% of non-commissioned officers and soldiers to participate. According to Major Tran Van Nhat - Mass Affairs Assistant (Political Department, Division 10), after completing 3 months of training, soldiers were assigned to their units and registered to participate in the model.
Every month, depending on the allowance level, each volunteer soldier will deduct 500,000 VND or more and deposit it with the battalion's financial staff to open a savings account at the bank. Management and monitoring are carried out strictly and publicly. Each soldier has his own tracking book, with monthly savings results summarized. Upon discharge, the soldier will receive back the entire principal and interest. In case the family is in difficulty, the soldier can request to withdraw in advance.
With the goal of building a healthy cultural environment and developing reading habits in the army, the 273rd Tank Brigade has built and put into use the "Green Library" project. The project has an investment of about 80 million VND and more than 150 working days of officers and soldiers. The highlight of the project is 5 unique "knowledge trees", each tree is 2 m high, with 4 wings that can rotate 360 degrees. On each wing is a small rotating bookcase, divided into compartments, arranged by topic: military and unit traditions; life and career of President Ho Chi Minh and generals; laws, resolutions, regulations; literature, stories, poems, magazines, etc. The bookcase is designed to be lively and attractive, creating conditions for officers and soldiers to easily access and choose documents suitable to their needs and interests.
The reading space is also expanded with the “Mushroom House” model - a place decorated with slogans, beautiful words, Uncle Ho's teachings, emulation criteria and traditional values of the unit. In addition, the “Green Library” campus is invested in a systematic way with a system of stone tables and chairs, miniature landscapes, ornamental flowers, a model of the unit's heroic vehicle crew and games such as chess and Chinese chess. This is not only a place to rest but also becomes a cultural meeting place, contributing to improving the spiritual life of soldiers.
Major Dam Duc Nha - Propaganda Assistant (Political Department, 273rd Tank Brigade) shared: “Along with the reading room and Ho Chi Minh room, the “Green Library” has contributed to spreading the reading movement widely in the unit, arousing passion for knowledge, raising awareness, training thinking, contributing to forming personality and healthy lifestyle for soldiers. At the same time, this model also plays an important role in building the landscape, creating a regular and exemplary military cultural environment”.
Lieutenant General Dao Tuan Anh - Commander of the 34th Corps - informed: The implementation of Directive No. 05-CT/TW dated May 15, 2016 of the Politburo on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle has become a regular and voluntary activity in the awareness and actions of cadres and soldiers. The leadership and direction thinking as well as the implementation organization methods have undergone many strong innovations, creating positive changes in each Party Committee, Party cell, cadre, Party member and the masses.
Many good models and creative approaches have been built and replicated, contributing significantly to building a exemplary clean and strong Party organization; a comprehensively strong agency and unit that is "exemplary and typical", meeting the requirements of tasks in the new period.
