On the afternoon of June 29, at the end of the second day of the exam, which was also the last exam session for the Foreign Language subject, Son La candidates completed the 2023 High School Graduation Exam. Many candidates left the exam room with a relaxed mindset.

Candidates took the Foreign Language test in the form of multiple choice questions, with a time limit of 60 minutes. Most candidates left the exam room with confidence and assessed that this year's exam had the potential to achieve high scores.

Regarding the content of knowledge, the questions are mainly in the 12th grade program. The exam focuses on testing the reading and writing skills of candidates when applying grammar and vocabulary knowledge to read and understand the text. The questions are closely related to the illustrative topic. The questions about vocabulary, synonyms - antonyms and the reading passage have good content and problem setting. However, many candidates assessed that this year's exam is also more difficult.

According to information from the Provincial Steering Committee for the 2023 High School Graduation Exam, this afternoon, 10,135 candidates registered to take the Foreign Language exam (English: 10,129, Chinese: 4, Japanese: 1, Korean: 1). 10,097 candidates were present, 38 candidates were absent (English), of which 13 candidates were exempted from the exam, 2 were sick, 1 died, 22 candidates had registered to take the exam but did not take it. The exam took place normally, without any unusual incidents.
After 2 days of the exam, the organization of the exam was carried out strictly, in accordance with procedures and regulations, ensuring quality, security and order were ensured at the exam sites. The whole province had no candidates or supervisors violating the exam regulations. The exam supervisors performed seriously, in accordance with the assigned functions and tasks.
