The Yen Nghia Ward Trade Union prioritizes the interests of its members.

At the Congress, the Chairwoman of the Yen Nghia Ward Trade Union, Dao Dieu Chung, stated that after the implementation of the two-tiered local government system, trade union activities in the ward have been comprehensively restructured to suit the new organizational model. The ward currently has 16 active grassroots trade unions with nearly 1,500 members, including workers, civil servants, and laborers.

With the theme "Unity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development," the Congress identified two breakthroughs, five key tasks, and several targets to strive for, such as achieving and exceeding the targets for membership development and the establishment of grassroots trade unions annually; by the end of the term, 100% of units and enterprises with 25 or more employees will have established a trade union organization; the ward trade union will have at least one exemplary project or task that practically cares for the interests of union members and workers...

Immediately after the Congress, the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Ward Trade Union will select key issues and priority tasks, especially breakthrough areas, to focus resources on implementation in each stage, avoiding spreading resources too thinly; they will be proactive and creative in directing and managing to promptly handle emerging issues...

Delivering a guiding speech at the Congress, Nguyen Nguyen Quan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Yen Nghia Ward, affirmed that the Party Committee trusts and requests the Ward's Trade Union, term I, 2025-2030, to focus on effectively carrying out the task of building a strong and comprehensive trade union organization and actively participating in building the Party and government.

The Secretary of the Party Committee of Yen Nghia Ward noted that the Ward's Trade Union should consider building a team of trade union officials as a breakthrough, a decisive factor in the effectiveness of its activities; focusing on building a team of professional trade union officials with strong political acumen, impeccable ethics, dedication, creativity, and high responsibility.

The ward-level trade union must promote its role in representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of its members and workers, considering this a central task in its organizational activities. All levels of the trade union must consistently implement the principle of prioritizing the interests of its members in all activities; placing the interests of its members at the center and innovating its methods of operation; strongly reforming its methods of operation to focus on the grassroots, closely engaging with the lives, thoughts, and aspirations of workers; and ensuring that 100% of members and workers in difficult circumstances, upon request, receive attention and support from all levels of the trade union...

The Congress announced the Decision appointing the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Inspection Committee, and other positions of the Ward Trade Union. Accordingly, the Ward Trade Union Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term consists of 9 members; Comrade Dao Dieu Chung was appointed to the position of Chairman of the Ward Trade Union for the 2025-2030 term.
